BLUEGRASS SPRING PONY SERIES RULES:
1. Bluegrass Spring Pony Series Classes to be run under Article No: 238 2.2 or 274 5.3
2. 45 second countdown clock to be operational in all classes
3. Series will be run on a points system, based on Pony / Athlete Combination
4. Points will be awarded as follows: 10 points for 1st place, 9 points for 2nd descending to 1 point for 10th placed Pony/ Athlete Combination with Points and Half Awarded in the Final.
5. Best 5 out of 8 possible scores will denote the winner, where there is equality of points the highest placed combination at the final will get the higher placing
6. Athletes on Temporary Tickets or riding H/C are not eligible to jump for points or prizes in the Bluegrass Pony Spring Series
7. In exceptional circumstances the Pony Committee’s decision is final

BLUEGRASS 128 50cm & 128 60cm
1. Bluegrass 128 50cm and 60cm classes will be run under Newcomer rules restricted to 128cm ponies. Eligible athletes will be in their 6th year – Under 12 Years of age on 1st January 2015
2. The classes will run under Article 274.5.1
3. Points awarded to Athlete/Pony Combination as follows: 3 point for competing; 6 points for clear first round & 9 points for second clear round
4. The Finals will be run under optimum time with the display clock being turned off during the athlete’s round and turned back
on after completion of the round
5. Points in the final will be awarded to 10th place – Points allocated at the Final will be 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1
6. Athletes must not have competed higher than 75cm in 128 50cm and 80cm in 128 60cm
7. Athletes on Temporary Tickets or riding H/C are not eligible to jump for points or prizes in the Ulster Region Spring Pony Series
8. Best 3 out of 4 possible scores will denote the winner, where there is equality of points the highest placed combination at the final will get the higher placing
9. To be eligible for money and prizes in the tour final athletes must compete at the final must be present for the presentation
10. Under Show Jumping Ireland Rules, no one may enter the arena apart from the athlete and pony, therefore no one may
be present IN THE ARENA during the competition
